What is Smart Hub?
CP-TEL is rolling out some exciting new billing and payment changes! Beginning today (July 21, 2015), our new billing system, SmartHub, will be up and running. SmartHub will make online check payments, credit card payments and receiving electronic bills even easier!
SmartHub will send you a monthly e-mail reminder that your bill is ready. You don’t have to risk missed or late payments again. Whether you are re-establishing automatic payments or setting them up for the first time, you will need to visit SmartHub at https://cptel.smarthub.coop after July 21, 2015. Click on the "New User?" link at the bottom of the splash screen to get started.
We take great care to comply with all payment card industry compliance laws which protect your credit card information. That means that we cannot simply extract and move existing credit card information to the new billing system. Therefore, if you previously set up automatic credit card payments, you will need to re-enter your credit card information into our new system. This can be done by selecting “Pay Your Bill” from the left navigation. Then select “Auto Pay Accounts” from the left navigation. Click the “Sign Up for Auto Pay” hyperlink. Select “Credit/Debit Card” or “Checking Account” and enter your information in order to pay for services automatically each month.
After July 21, 2015, to view or pay your bill, please visit our secure e-bill website at https://cptel.smarthub.coop or the "Pay Your Bill" link at cp-tel.com. Select “New User? Sign up to access our Self Service site” hyperlink on the login page. You will need to enter your account number, last name and email to start the registration process.
Next, you will need to answer three security questions and establish one security phrase to register. Once registration is complete, an email will be sent with a temporary password required for the first login. You will be asked to change the password upon initial login.
